The Golden Globes 2011 Best Dressed

If you are like us then you will be very tired this morning, we stayed up past 3am watching the Golden Globes, but the sleep deprivation we have to endure today was so totally worth it.  This was the 68th Golden Globes and a big congratulation goes to all the winners, especially our fellow Brit, Colin Firth, for his role in the King’s Speech, which oddly enough another Sassi PR team member watched yesterday.  The Social Network was a big winner as well as Glee, who won three awards.

But what excited us more than the intense competition inside was the competition of who will come out triumphant as part of the Best Dressed list.  We have put a few pictures up to show you our favourites, starting with the beautiful Angelina Jolie, who sparkled in a green full length Atelier Versace dress, she was joined at the event by her partner Brad Pitt. Anne Hathaway shied in a nude backless Armani Privé dress, she has also just been confirmed for a role in Glee, I wonder if she can sing?  A chocolate coloured sparkly Marchesa ‘princess’ gown was the choice of actress Olivia Wilde, she looks absolutely stunning and every bit the princess that she is.  Catherine Zeta Jones made everyone else green with envy as she stepped out in emerald Monique Lhuiller, she was joined by her husband Michael Douglas, who joked as he took to the stage to present an award, “There has to be an easier way of getting a standing ovation”.  Finally major credit has to be given to the kooky actress Helena Bonham Carter, who broke every red carpet fashion rule by turning up in mismatching shoes, one red and one green, the dress on the other hand was a plunging multi-coloured Vivienne Westwood dress.

Let us know who was your favourite?
