Pure London is a key fashion trade event with over 950 hand picked brands exhibiting over 3 days. Walking onto the main floor of Pure London is like walking onto the shop floor of a super stylish super exclusive department store.
This makes the event a great place for emerging designers to introduce themselves buyers from across the country. Originally from Turkey, emerging designer, Adel Andic brought an international flavour to Pure London with her culturally inspired creations. She was at the event to showcase ‘Femme Fatale’ a powerful collection that has already gained lots of attention after showing at Alternative Fashion Week. Adel was very excited about exhibiting at Pure London: “It’s exciting for me to know that my collection is being showcased at the UK’s leading fashion trade show. This is a perfect opportunity for buyers to see my collection off the runway and for me to really talk to people about my work and my inspirations.” Buyers seemed to be very impressed with the precise tailoring and the outstanding quality of the fabrics such as leather and suede and wool throughout the collection.
The show itself offers both emerging and established designers and brands the opportunity to introduce themselves to a wide audience of buyers. These include womenswear, menswear, accessories and footwear which are all grouped by type to make it easier for buyers to find what they are looking for.
As well as viewing the latest collections of the various exhibitors, visitors, can also watch a catwalk show and listen to talks by industry insiders. This year innovative and extroverted designer Zandra Rhodes was interviewed by vogue on the main stage which was interested to watch.
